Update on Our Bathroom Remodel Project

The temperature has finally climbed out of the single digits and the plumber managed to work us into his crazy schedule.  The faucets are in and the sinks are functioning.  It’s amazing how much you miss running water when you don’t have it readily available.

With the plumbing work complete, it’s time for the final tweaks on the installation.  I had ordered two framed mirrors to match the cabinetry which needed to be hung and I also had planned for two removable panels below each sink to conceal the water and drain lines.  Both of those items are now checked off the list.

Newly installed bathroom faucets and vanity mirrors.

What’s next?  We had decided that we needed to tile the backsplash with something that added a little interest and tied things together.  We’ve ordered tile, but aren’t sure of a pattern just yet.  Once the tile arrives we plan on laying out several possible designs with the hope of agreeing on one!

We also need sconces, towel bars, rugs, towels, all of those little elements that pull the whole room together.  I’ve spent countless hours on-line looking at all of the options, it’s absolutely mind boggling the choices that are out there.  I actually am now officially tired of shopping!
