Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, painted white cabinets in remodeled kitchens, brushed gold accessories that add lots of bling, these are a few of my favorite things!
As the warmth of the Holidays slowly fades into celebrations for the new year, I wanted to take the time to share some of our dealer projects that feature a holiday theme as well as show off beautiful transformations. Enjoy browsing and maybe you’ll be inspired for your next remodel project!
Old World Charm
The below project was designed by our friends at Revival House of Plymouth, Minnesota, with Michels Homes of St. Paul, Minnesota. The project features a second kitchen addition designed off the main kitchen and features both inset cabinetry for the uppers and full overlay frameless for the base and tall cabinets. The Kendall Panel door style is finished in our Silver Mist paint, with a coordinating Knotty Alder Wood Top on the pantry side. Several details, such as the decorative toe boards, bead board panels, and custom brass inserts in the upper cabinets, give this added space an old English Cottage look and feel, and it dresses up perfectly for the holidays.
New Oak Traditions
This project by Adorned Homes features a new twist on an oldie but goodie: Oak cabinets mixed with today’s finishes. Oak is starting to come back around in design, especially when stained with a true brown tone like our Cashew on the Highland door style. Add in a white shiplap modern wood hood, quartz countertops, and gold and black accents, it becomes the perfect gathering space for designer, Katie Kurtz, and her family. The stained oak adds warmth and texture while the black painted cabinets add contrast to the coffee bar area.
Woodsy Modern Farmhouse
The below kitchen project was a remodel combining painted cabinets with our specialty Weathered finish. It combines both traditional white shaker cabinets with the rustic texture and finish for the kitchen island and the back coffee bar/pantry area. The weathered wood hood pulls it all together! A cozy cabin living feel without having to head out of town, and the holidays add some magic to it all. Project by RaLana Ackerson of Campbell Lumber of Superior, Wisconsin.
Holiday Baking Dream
Below is an oldie-but-goodie kitchen project that was all ready to entertain for the holidays. This two-tone kitchen features cherry cabinets in Heavy Heirloom K, with the Alder cabinets in a custom stain with an accent applied. The beautiful Mantle Hood is the main attraction for this room, and the large island makes for a great prep space for making cookies, as well as adding informal seating.
Gather Round the Christmas Tree
This grand family room is ready for everyone to gather around to open presents. It features built-ins in our Chapel Hill Panel door style painted White with Pewter Accent and a matching mantle, which Dura Supreme offers. The leaded glass doors along with the glazing on the cabinets add a subtle vintage look and softens the paint.
These are just a few of our holiday projects to show off and inspire. For more inspiration visit our Inspiration Gallery, or visit a Dura Supreme dealer near you.
