From upgrading popular cabinet solutions to adding new ones, Dura Supreme Cabinetry’s product development team is continuously making efforts to improve their product offering. Recently they made an exciting upgrade to one of their most popular cabinets, the “BRC” (Base Recycling Center) which is specified for nearly every Dura Supreme kitchen.
The Base Recycling Center is a pull-out cabinet that houses 1 or 2 waste bins. It’s one of the most used cabinets in the kitchen and is typically in an area that naturally sees a lot of drips and spills. Over time the top edge of the door can become scratched and worn from regular scrubbing, clean up, and exposure to moisture. To combat the everyday wear and tear to this highly used cabinet, Dura Supreme is now including an attractive Metal Drip Edge to protect the top of the door from spills and make it easier to clean without the risk of damaging the cabinet. The new Metal Drip Edge now comes standard on all Base Recycling Centers and is available in a choice of Black, Brushed Aluminum, or Satin Brass to coordinate with their home. The metal drip edge is slightly visible from the exterior and protrudes 1/16″ creating an attractive and durable protective barrier.

In addition to the Metal Drip Edge Dura Supreme’s Base Recycling Centers already include a Touch Latch (with Soft-Close) to add additional convenience to the cabinet. With a nudge from a knee or fingertip, the cabinet will automatically open. This helps create a hands-free option for accessing the wastebaskets when the homeowner has wet hands or are handling wet food scraps.
